A FEMALE driver has been reported after cops found a "dangerous defect" on her car.
The woman was spotted and stopped by Glasgow Road Police in Paisley recently.
A short investigation by the officers revealed that the driver reportedly had no active MOT or insurance.
The force also conducted a roadside vehicle check which flagged up a "dangerous defect" resulting in the car being seized with the woman being reported.
In a statement on X, police said: "#GlasgowRP stopped this vehicle in Paisley. Found to have no MOT and no insurance.
"A roadside vehicle exam identified a dangerous defect which resulted in the vehicle being prohibited.
"Vehicle seized and the female driver reported."
