Police were called last night after “men with balaclavas” were spotted in a Renfrewshire street.
Officers attended a report of males "acting suspiciously" in Endrick Drive at around 7.40pm.
On social media, a resident, who wanted to make others aware of the incident, said they saw “four men with balaclavas checking out houses around Endrick Drive."
They reported that the men “sped off in a car when clocked in a dark driveway.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland told the Gazette: "Around 7.40pm on Thursday, January 18, 2024, we were called to a report of a males acting suspiciously in Endrick Drive, Paisley.
“Officers attended, but the group had left the scene.
“Following enquiries, no crime was established."
