A Paisley man has been arrested after an alleged attempted robbery at a bank machine.
The incident took place on Gilmour Street in Paisley yesterday morning shortly after 9.30am.
A man attempted to "snatch" money out of the hands of a member of the public who was using the ATM.
The male proceeded to run away.
However, the victim reported the incident to the police who conducted an investigation. This led to a 40-year-old male being arrested and charged.
He is due to appear in court at a later date.
