A driver who just bought a new car had it seized by police after having 'no insurance'.
Glasgow Road Police stopped the driver on the M8 just outside Glasgow Airport on Sunday night.
The driver of the vehicle allegedly had not arranged insurance on their new vehicle and was stopped driving home.
Officers described the incident as an "expensive mistake".

The person was fined £300 and was issued six points.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, they said: "The driver of this vehicle started driving it home after purchase.
"They didn't bother arranging insurance - an expensive mistake! Driver issued with six points and £300 fixed penalty notice roadside after being stopped by Glasgow Road Police.
"If you have no insurance for your vehicle, it will be seized.
