A Paisley community event is encouraging people to "chase away" the January blues as a communal singalong is set to take place
Music teacher and vocalist, Jasmine Dey is delivering a musical workshop on Thursday, January 4. People who go along can expect percussion games, singing warm-ups and learning some Scottish songs.
Jasmine assists at the Paisley-based Brick Lane Musical Academy who aim to help children and young people that want to learn more about music - as well as helping disadvantaged families in the Paisley area have musical opportunities.

The music workshop which is supported by Paisley & District u3a will also see members have a go at a quiz hosted by Jasmine which will be music based.
Kathy O’Donnell, u3a chair, said: “We think this low-key event will bring us a bit of cheer and help chase the January blues away.
"It’s also a good opportunity to meet up with others and enjoy some refreshments between1.30pm -2pm before the session starts.”
