A 56-year-old woman has been arrested in Renfrewshire for allegedly driving whilst under the influence of alcohol.
Officers were on patrol in Broomlands Street in Paisley at about 9.50am on Monday, January 1 when they carried out checks of a car which showed it had no insurance.
The vehicle was stopped, and the female driver was charged with no insurance.
Police say a roadside breath test was then carried out on the woman which "she failed."
She will appear at court at a later date.
