A GOOD cause in Johnstone has received a welcoming funding boost from a property developer.
It comes after Taylor Wimpey West donated St Vincent's Hospice £2,500 from its staff and charities committee.
The developer decided to help the cause as part of its commitment to working in partnership with local communities.
On top of that, they have also used their "expertise" to help with the refurbishment of the hospice staff kitchen and washroom.
Emma Donald, community, corporate, and events manager said: “We are so grateful to the team at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland for all of their continued support of the hospice.
"The work the team have done in our staff kitchen and washroom is fantastic and has made such a difference.
"The generous donation of £2,500 will go towards the vital funds needed to allow us to provide meaningful, specialist care to our patients and families when they need it the most.”
David Blair, managing director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland added: “We have been supporting St Vincent’s Hospice for many years now, and we continue to be very proud of the way our staff come together to show their support of this incredible charity.
“As well as our donation of £2,500 our team has stepped in to help the hospice with a much-needed refurbishment of its staff kitchen and washroom which we know will be of great benefit to the staff providing around-the-clock care at the hospice.
"Being able to work with local groups and charities is so important to us.”
