A GYM in Paisley is set to take on a huge challenge to help children affected by domestic abuse this Christmas.
It comes after Pure Gym in the town announced they will be taking part in a 24-hour spin class to raise awareness about the issue of domestic abuse but also collect as many gifts and donations as possible to make a difference in youngsters' lives that are affected by it in the community.
As part of the initiative, members will select tags from the venue's Christmas tree, each of which represents a child's wish for Christmas, and then purchase gifts such as toys and warm blankets.
The leisure centre said: "At Pure Gym Paisley, we will be taking part in a 24-hour spin class.
"This event aims to not only raise awareness about the issue of domestic abuse but also collect as many gifts and donations as possible to make a significant difference in these children's lives.
"The concept is simple yet powerful - members select tags from our Christmas tree, each representing a child's wish for Christmas, and generously purchase gifts such as toys and warm blankets."
