1. Big-hearted pupils at Rashielea Primary, in Erskine, raised more than £200 for typhoon victims in the Philippines through a school raffle and Christmas sale.
2. Bus passengers across Renfrewshire helped raise more than £3,000 for Yorkhill Children’s Charity.
3. Reekie Machining, based in Inchinnan, became the 500th local business to sign up for the £8million Invest in Renfrewshire programme aimed at boosting the local economy.
4. Badminton player Rebekka Findlay, from Erskine, was one of six talented athletes selected from the University of the West of Scotland for the sports scholarship scheme Winning Students.
5. Pupils at Barsail Primary, in Erskine, got their chance to shine in their school nativity.
6. Staff at freshly-opened coffee shop Sapporito were welcoming their first customers.
