Hard-up families across Renfrewshire are set to receive a festive boost, thanks to a leading housebuilder.
Staff at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland have collected 77 gift bags of toys that will taken along to one of Renfrewshire Toy Bank's local drop-off points.
The volunteer-led charity has seen a massive increase in the number of families who need some help and its mission is to ensure that all children and teenagers receive a gift on Christmas Day.
Lauren Roy-Sutherland, of the Renfrewshire Toy Bank, said: "We are delighted to have the support of Taylor Wimpey West Scotland and their gifts will add a great boost to the generous donations that we've had from so many other local businesses and individuals."
Kara Newman, who co-ordinated the toy collection for her colleagues at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, said: "Being able to work with local groups and charities is important to us and I'm proud of our team both in our office and across our network of developments in the west of Scotland for gathering such a large collection of gifts for The Renfrewshire Toy Bank.
"We know the gifts will ultimately find a way to bring some festive cheer to children across the local area and we'd like to thank the volunteers at the toy bank for the incredible work they do."
