999 crews rushed to a report of a "blaze" at a property in Linwood earlier this afternoon.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to a report of a fire in a home on Milford Drive at around 2pm on Wednesday, December 6.
Three fire vehicles were sent to the scene where firefighters were met with a "false alarm".
It is understood an intruder alarm had been activated.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 2.09pm on Wednesday, December 7, to reports of a fire within a domestic property on Milford Drive, Linwood, Glasgow.
"Operations control mobilised three appliances to the scene and on arrival, firefighters stated it was a false alarm.
"Crews left the scene at 2.42pm ensuring the area was made safe and there were no reported casualties."
