THE bosses at a popular restaurant in Erskine have said they are "devastated" following a horror blaze that ripped through the venue.
It comes after we previously reported fire crews raced to the Grill In The Park on Wednesday, November 29, at around 8am, after being alerted to a building fire.
Six fire vehicles were originally sent to the scene where firefighters were met with a well-established blaze within the premises.
No injuries were reported following the incident.
Now, the much-loved venue has expressed its sadness following the blaze.
The restaurant has also apologised to customers who have made bookings over the festive period.
Announcing the sad news on social media, Grill In The Park said: "The team at Grill In The Park is devastated to let you all know that the Grill went on fire.
"We would like to apologise to all our customers who have made Christmas bookings.
"We have two options - either we can try to move your booking to another location or we will gladly refund your full deposit.
"Just message the page with your reservation and contact number and someone will be in touch.
"Thank you for all the support and kind words at this very sad time."
Punters of the venue flocked to the comments to express their sadness at the news.
One said: "Terrible news. Hope you are back soon."
Another said: "Terrible news. Hope everyone is ok. Will be missed by a lot of people."
Meanwhile, a third chimed: "We are all hoping you bounce back from this and not too much damage has been done.
"Wishing you a speedy recovery."
