A KIND-hearted coffee shop in Paisley is aiming to help struggling locals throughout December.
It comes after Spoons Coffee House on Causeyside Street revealed that they will be starting a "paid in advance scheme" to help out those in need in the area.
As part of it, people will be able to receive hot drinks, rolls, and soup.
However, the eatery is also looking for residents to donate cash to help them out with the initiative.
Announcing the caring idea on social media, the venue said: "We know things are tough for everyone these days, however, us at Spoons want to try our best to help people out that are really struggling.
"For the month of December, we will be starting this paid-in-advance scheme to help people in need with hot drinks, hot rolls, and soup.
"However, if you would like to help us out any amount will be greatly appreciated.
"We all know an act of kindness goes a long way to help someone in need, all they have to do is come in and give a member of staff the receipt in exchange for the food.
"Please only use this service if you really need it."
