THREE people have been rushed to hospital following a horror car smash in Paisley yesterday.
It comes after 999 crews raced to Arkleston Road at around 11.16am on Thursday, November 30, after receiving a report of a two-vehicle crash.
In total, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent three vehicles to the scene, where firefighters made the area safe.
Following the incident, three people were taken to hospital for treatment.
Cops say the road reopened around 12.30pm.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 11.16am on Thursday, November 30, to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Arkleston Road, Paisley.
"Operations control mobilised three fire appliances to the area where firefighters worked to make the area safe.
"Three casualties were taken to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 11.15am on Thursday, November 30, police received a report of a two-vehicle crash on Arkleston Road, Paisley.
"One driver was taken to hospital for treatment and the road reopened around 12.30pm."
