THE probe into the death of a man in Renfrew almost one month ago remains ongoing, cops have confirmed.
We previously reported emergency crews raced to Newmains Road in the town at around 2.30am on Sunday, November 5, after receiving a report of an unresponsive man.
Following it, a 27-year-old was rushed to hospital but tragically died a short time later.
Currently, cops are treating the death as unexplained. The man was named locally as Andrew Lees.
Now, the force revealed to the Gazette this morning that enquiries into the death remain ongoing.
It is understood no arrests have been made.
Following the discovery of Mr Lees, cops remained at the scene for more than 30 hours after CID officers taped off a large area of the town.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Enquiries remain ongoing."
