All tracks will lead to Paisley for train enthusiasts as they get the chance to check out a special show.

The Renfrewshire Model Railway Club is hoping to attract lots of locomotive lovers to its annual exhibition this weekend.

With more than 35 layouts to explore and plenty of traders selling collectibles, there will be something for everyone at The Art Department at The Paisley Centre, in Causeyside Street.

Several of the layouts have never been seen in Scotland before, with some of them debuting at this weekend's exhibition.

The Gazette:

Mark Davies, of Renfrewshire Model Railway Club, said: "Following on from the success of our first show at The Art Department last year which attracted hundreds of visitors, we are back for 2023's show which will be our biggest to date.

"There will be a wide array of exhibits to see, not just for model railway enthusiasts, but for people of all ages and families from the local area and beyond."

Steven Thomson, creative director at The Art Department and Outspoken Arts Scotland, added: "We're thrilled to be hosting this major exhibition for a second year.

"We're excited to hear that it's going to be the club's biggest show to date, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to The Art Department."
