A man has been arrested after allegedly trying to rob a Paisley shop while brandishing a syringe.
Police were called to Gallowhill Road at around 6.50am on Wednesday, November 15 after receiving a report of a robbery.

It is claimed the 49-year-old suspect was restrained by staff after removing money from the till.
Police said one employee suffered a minor injury during the disturbance but did not require hospital treatment.
The suspect was held in custody pending an appearance at Paisley Sheriff Court.
