A BUSY road in Johnstone will be closed for one day next month to allow the town's Christmas lights event to take place.
Houstoun Square will be shut from Church Street to William Street on Saturday, December 2.
Vehicles that are left on the road in contravention of the closure notice will be moved out of the area.
However, the notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs.
