1. Piazza shopping centre, in Paisley, paid Renfrewshire's Provost Anne Hall the living wage to work at their ice rink for a day to raise money for four local charities.
2. Revellers in Renfrew enjoyed some festive fun when a crowd of more than 1,000 turned out to see the town's Christmas lights switched on.
3. Green-minded youngsters at Kilbarchan Nursery were awarded their second eco-flag.
4. Schoolkids and staff at Kirklandneuk Primary, in Renfrew, gathered to celebrate Renfrewshire's longest serving catering manager Lorraine Kingsley.
5. Dedicated gardener David Buchan, who worked at Elderslie Care Home, won the Ancillary and Support Staff Award category at the Scottish Care Awards.
6. More than 110 youngsters from 1st Elderslie Girls' Brigade partied on down to mark 100 years of the company.
