A Renfrewshire social organisation has awarded a four-figure funding boost to a much-loved children's charity.
Members of Gryffe Valley Rotary Club have donated £4,750 to Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).
The cheque was presented to the charity's community fundraiser Cara Bowden at one of the group's recent weekly meetings at the Fox and Hounds pub, in Houston.
Gryffe Valley Rotary Club raised the funds through their annual 10k running event, which takes place around Houston, Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm.

The event, which was held in May this year, saw more than 150 people take part.
It was sponsored by Bridge of Weir-based Scottish Leather Group and The Malcolm Group, based in Brookfield.
The club also organised, for the first time, a kids 2K fun run in Houston Park as a prelude to the main event.
Next year's running event is set to take place on May 19.
