A busy supermarket in Erskine has reopened following an "extensive store refit."
The Spar store at Bargarran Shopping Centre has received major investment to bring it in line with CJ Lang's latest modern SPAR store models and their drive to be more energy efficient.
The store's exterior now has a new bright Spar fascia plus updated window graphics and external signage.
Internally, there has been a complete refit with new flooring, new ceiling finish, new lighting, new shelving and new counter installed.
Sonya Harper, central operations director at Spar, said: "Our ambition is to bring everything that our neighbours in our local community would expect to see in their local store.
"Focus has been given to ensuring that our offer of chilled products, fruit and vegetables have been improved, along with snacking and ambient ranges to meet all meal requirements.
"Major investment has been made to upgrade the refrigerated equipment and space.
"The food-to-go area sees a major boost, both in self-serve options and for items served at the counter area.
"The beers, wines and spirits area has also been upgraded and now chilled beers and wines are available for customers.
"The store layout takes shopping missions into consideration and helps customers find complimentary products located helpfully.

"Price information has been fully modernised with the installation of clearly visible electronic shelf edge labels along with large digital screens giving promotion and product information.
"The overall internal store look, and product location guidance, is rounded off with very visible, colourful and illuminated signage boards."
The Spar store in Erskine will celebrate its relaunch with the local community on Friday, November 24, between 3pm and 5pm.
Visitors to the store on the relaunch day will be treated to goody bags filled with a selection of Spar own label products, have the chance to spin the iconic SPAR Spinning Wheel, and sample some delicious goodies.
Following its community support programme, the store will invite local charities to attend the launch event and present each of them with a cheque.
