A number of memorial events will be held across Renfrewshire to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Hundreds of people are expected to turn out to pay their respects to the fallen as parades take place in local towns and villages.
The first of the November 12 parades will get underway in Elderslie at 9.45am, with a similar event event in Houston at 10am.
A start time of 10.45am has been arranged for parades in Kilbarchan, Paisley, Lochwinnoch and Johnstone, while Renfrew's will begin at 10.50am.

There will also be parades in Howwood at noon and Bridge of Weir at 3pm.
Renfrewshire's Provost Lorraine Cameron said: "Every year at this time we stop to remember those we have lost, and I would encourage all who are able to attend to come to one of the services taking place across Renfrewshire.
"It's so important that we pay our respects to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and I look forward to the community once again coming together to show their gratitude for all that have gone before us."
