JOHNSTONE is set to be turned into a "winter wonderland" as the town's Christmas lights switch-on date has been revealed.
The event, which is set to take place on Saturday, December 2 between 1pm and 5pm, will take place at Houstoun Square.
It will include a Christmas Market, a funfair, and Santa will also be in attendance at his grotto to meet youngsters.
The light switch-on will take place at 5pm.
On top of that, there will be additional free activities on offer as part of the #YouDecideJohnstone campaign.
