Police have launched an investigation into the "suspicious" death of a man in Renfrew this morning.
Emergency services attended Renfield Street at around 3am on Monday, October 30, after receiving a report of an injured man.
A 52-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and police have confirmed the incident is being treated as "suspicious."
The area remained taped off this morning, with officers guarding the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3am on Monday, October 30, 2023, we received a report of an injured man on Renfield Street, Renfrew.
“Emergency services attended and the 52-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
“His death is being treated as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
