A senior site manager who works at a Bishopton development has won a prestigious award from the National House Building Council.
James MacLennan, from Paisley, was one of only 14 people in Scotland to receive a Seal of Excellence award at the recent Pride in the Jobs Awards 2023.
The Stewart Milne Homes site manager has been commended for maintaining a consistent high quality of workmanship throughout the build process at Dargavel Village and delivering exceptional quality homes.
James said: "I am really proud to receive national recognition for my site management skills as we progress with the delivery of the Dargavel Village development.
"It was great to meet with other like-minded site managers at the recent awards ceremony in Glasgow and I'm now looking forward to developing my skills and career with the support of the Stewart Milne Homes team.
"The award is a great way to celebrate the consistent hard work delivered by the team, both on-site and in the office."
Neil Thomson, managing director at Stewart Milne Homes, said: "James' accreditation is testament to his outstanding work ethic and desire to always go above and beyond. Everyone at Stewart Milne Homes is over the moon for his win and we're incredibly pleased that his hard work has been recognised.
"Our people are the most important part of Stewart Milne Homes, and we are always looking at how we can help upskill and grow confidence in the workplace across all teams."
Stewart Milne Homes launched its third phase of homes at the nearby Dargavel Village development in summer 2023, along with two new show homes.
The Dargavel Village sales centre is open seven days a week, from 10.30am to 5.30pm. To make an enquiry or book a visit to the show homes, call 0345 0171 261.
