People who live in Johnstone can have their say on how £5,000 is spent at the Christmas lights switch-on event in the town as part of a new pilot project.
Last month, Renfrewshire Council asked local residents for their views on the event and more than 200 people submitted their ideas on what they'd like included in this year's programme.
The council's events team have created a shortlist of activities based on those suggestions and residents can now vote on what extra activities they'd like to see as part of the event, which is due to take place in the town's Houstoun Square on Saturday, December 2.
There are seven options to choose from:
- Free family activities at Station Seven
- Local established music acts to play on the bandstand
- Street entertainers
- Giant snow globe
- Silent Disco
- Festive face painting, glitter tattoos and balloon modelling
- Additional festive décor in Houstoun Square

Residents can vote for multiple options, up to a total spend of £5,000.
The results, plus further programme details for the event, will be announced in November.

The survey will close on Wednesday, November 1.
