A man has died after being struck by a train travelling between Glasgow and Paisley at the weekend.
Emergency services received reports of a casualty on the tracks between Glasgow Central station and Paisley Gilmour Street station at around 4pm on Saturday, October 21.
A man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene, with police later confirming the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to the line in Glasgow at 4.01pm on Saturday, October 21 following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal."
ScotRail services between Glasgow Central and Ayr, Ardrossan Harbour, Largs, Paisley Canal, and Wemyss Bay were disrupted from around 4pm until around 8pm.
To keep customers moving, valid train tickets were accepted on selected McGills and Stagecoach West buses.
Phil Campbell, ScotRail customer operations director, said: "ScotRail services to and from Ayrshire and Inverclyde were disrupted on Saturday.
"Sadly, this was due to a person being struck by a train between Glasgow Central and Paisley Gilmour Street.
"Anyone affected by this incident can contact Samaritans for free of charge, any time, from any phone, on 116 123."
