1. Alyson Lamond, from Johnstone, and her niece Lauren Brogan won an exclusive dance class with ex-Pussycat Doll star Kimberly Wyatt.
2. Brookfield architecture graduate Allison Secker was awarded the Aberdeen society of Architects (AsA) Harbourne MacLennan Prize for her final year project entitled 'Densification of the Existing City'.
3. Dennis Lavery, of Johnstone Community Council, Councillor John Caldwell, artist Adrian McMurchie and Johnstone Community Council secretary George Kennedy surveyed the site of the new Johnstone Town Hall.
4. Kind-hearted pupils at Barsail Primary, in Erskine, amassed a mountain of tinned goods and packaged meals for Renfrewshire Foodbank.
5. Renfrew Speakers Club organised an Association of Speakers Clubs Public Speaking Competition.
6. Members of Facebook page 'Our Toon Johnstone' held a charity coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research.
