5. Councillor Andy Doig was a big fan of former Johnstone constable Ron Ewing's children's book, which followed the adventures of detective canine Zac.
6. MP Douglas Alexander joined Lorraine Darke of the Business Continuity Institute to unveil the new office of PlanB Consulting in Houston.
