A teenager has been arrested after allegedly starting a fire in Paisley town centre in the early hours of this morning.
The 18-year-old suspect was reportedly spotted on CCTV setting items alight and placing them in a bin in St Mirren Street at around 3am today.
Police attended the scene and the teenager was taken into custody.
A crew from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the bin before anyone was injured.

Police said the suspect was charged with wilful fireraising and the matter will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 2.57am on Friday, September 22, to reports of a bin on fire outside a building in St Mirren Street, Paisley.
"Operations Control mobilised one fire appliance. There were no reported casualties.
"Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."
