THE second man charged with the alleged attempted murder of a teen in Johnstone has been released on bail.
We previously reported that a 16-year-old male was reportedly stabbed at a bus stop near Thorn Court in the town on Wednesday, September 13, at around 12.20pm.
Following the altercation, the youngster was rushed to hospital where medical staff described his condition as stable.
Two 18-year-olds have since been arrested and charged in connection with the incident – Lewis Brown from Paisley and Daniel Donnelly from Johnstone.
Brown appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 19, charged with assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, danger of life and attempted murder.
While Donnelly previously appeared in court on Friday, September 15, charged with the same offences.
Both men made no plea and have been released on bail.
