A Renfrewshire charity that helps people with mobility issues is hoping its latest event will be everyone’s cup of tea.
To mark World Alzheimer’s Day, a number of Paisley organisations are hosting their own 'Tea and Blether' events on Thursday, September 21.
Shopmobility and Paisley District is holding one of these events to help make the town centre as dementia friendly as possible for those living with the condition and their carers.
Tea and cupcakes will be on offer at the charity's base on the ground floor of the Paisley Centre car park in Storie Street from 10am to 4pm.
Karen Miller, office manager at Shopmobility Paisley and District, said: "This is such an important day to help highlight the impact that Alzheimer’s disease can have on people and their families but also to focus on the help that is available.
"It's important that more support is available to those with dementia and their families, so we are delighted to be part of this event organised by Paisley First.
“If you are in Paisley town centre on September, September 21, why not pop in and have tea and a blether with us.
"Just give us a call 0141 889 0441 or email shopmobilitypaisley2019@outlook.com and let us know you're coming along."
