A WOMAN has been taken to hospital while a driver has been fined after a vehicle smash in Lochwinnoch.
It comes after officers raced to Kilbirnie Road at around 12.50pm on Sunday, September 17 to reports of a two-vehicle crash.
Following it, one woman was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Meanwhile, one female driver was issued a fine for alleged road traffic offences.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 12.50pm on Sunday, September 17, police were called to a two-vehicle road crash on Kilbirnie Road, Lochwinnoch.
"One woman has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
"One driver, a female, has been issued with a fixed penalty ticket for alleged road traffic offences following the incident."
