A teenager has appeared in court charged with an alleged murder bid in Johnstone.
Daniel Donnelly made no plea at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday, September 15.
The 18-year-old was charged with assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, danger of life and attempted murder.
Donnelly, of Johnstone, was committed for further examination and released on bail.
His next court appearance is to be confirmed.
It comes after we reported that a 16-year-old teenage boy was allegedly assaulted and stabbed near Thorn Court at around 12.20pm on Wednesday, September 13.

He was taken to hospital where medical staff describe his condition as stable.
Officers are continuing to appeal for information on another man, who is described as slim and in his mid-to-late teens with short brown hair.
At the time, he was wearing a dark-coloured track suit top and bottoms the hood up or a baseball cap on.
