A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Paisley.
Emergency services were alerted of the incident, which took place on Glasgow Road in the town, around 1.40pm today.
The motorcyclist, a 52-year-old man, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
The road was shut for over three hours but has since reopened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 1.40pm on Thursday, September 7, to a report of crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Glasgow Road in Paisley.
“Emergency services attended and the motorcycle rider, a 52-year-old man, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
“The road was closed eastbound at Hawkhead Road and re-opened around 5.15pm.”
