An elderly man was hit by a car in Renfrew this morning.
Emergency services were called to Cambridge Road at around 8am on Tuesday.
The man was rushed by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, in Glasgow.
His condition is currently unknown.

Police said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: "Around 8am on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, an elderly male pedestrian was struck by a car on Cambridge Road, Renfrew.
"He has been taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances of the incident."
