A man has been charged with illegal possession of a knife in Paisley.
Police on patrol stopped and searched the 45-year-old suspect in Wellmeadow Street at around 5.15am on Saturday, September 2.

The man was allegedly found in possession of a knife.
He was taken into custody and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
