AN investigation is underway following a blaze that ripped through two homes in Lochwinnoch.
We previously reported that emergency service crews raced to Spiers Road in the village on Thursday, August 17, to reports of a dwelling fire.
In total, four fire trucks were sent to the scene to battle the blaze.
It is now understood that an investigation is being carried out following the incident.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 3.06pm on Thursday, August 17, to reports of a dwelling fire on Spiers Road, Lochwinnoch.
"Operations control mobilised four appliances to the scene where firefighters extinguished the fire.
"There were no reported casualties and crews left at 4.19am on Friday, August 18 after ensuring the area had been made safe."
