AN update has been provided after a house in Lochwinnoch burst into flames yesterday afternoon.
We previously reported that the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) attended the blaze on Spiers Road in the village at around 3.06pm.
Four appliances were sent to the scene where firefighters extinguished and controlled the fire.
Pictures taken show the fire burst through the roof of one of the homes on the street.
It has now been confirmed that there were no casualties from the incident.
While emergency crews also revealed they left the scene at 4.19am on Friday, August 18, after making the area safe.
A spokesperson for the SFRS said: “We were alerted at 3.06pm on Thursday, August 17, to reports of a dwelling fire on Spiers Road, Lochwinnoch.
“Operation control mobilised four appliances to the scene where firefighters extinguished the fire.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left at 4.19am on Friday, August 18, after ensuring the area had been made safe.”
