Tributes have been paid to a Paisley man who died in hospital after being left seriously injured during an incident in the town.
Robert Fisher lost his fight for life on Thursday, July 27, following a disturbance in the Maxwellton Street area at around 5.30pm on Sunday, July 23.
Following his death, tributes have flocked in for the 26-year-old on social media.
One said: “RIP Boab – such a sad outcome for the family. Thinking of you all at this time.”
Another said: “RIP Boab – far too young to die. Thinking of all your family at this sad time. Fly high.”
While another user added: “RIP wee man. You will be sadly missed by so many.”
Robert was also described as a “lovely” guy by another social media user who said: “What a lovely boy he was, RIP.”
Another added: "This is so sad; I knew him years ago. RIP - thoughts are with his family."
Damon McDowall, 24, and Cameron Woods, 25, were both previously charged with attempted murder at Paisley Sheriff Court in connection with the incident before Robert’s death.
McDowall was also charged with threatening or abusive behaviour and breaching his bail conditions.
The pair, who are both from Paisley, made no plea during their appearances.
