4. Sommerville Weir Hall in Quarrier's Village was given a big lift after being refurbished to make it easier for disabled residents to get around.
5. Ambitious siblings Daniel and Antony Woodcock, who both grew up in Lochwinnoch, conquered an epic 7,610-mile vintage car race in memory of their father.
6. More than 1,000 people from all over the country attended the first-ever Erskine Classic Car Rally, which raised just over £4,000 for the veterans' charity.
