A man has been arrested after a car was torched on a busy road.
999 crews raced to Gauze Street in Paisley around 11am on Monday morning following reports of the blaze.
A 64-year-old was arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze and no injuries were reported.
First Bus was forced to divert services along the street which has since reopened.

Due to a police incident at Gauze St, Paisley, we are diverting via Mill St, Causeyside St and New St.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a car on fire on Gauze Street, Paisley around 11am on Monday, July 10, 2023.
“The fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there were no reports of any injuries.
“The fire is being treated as wilful and a 64-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
“The road has now reopened.”
