A BOY has been hit by a car outside a school in Paisley.
999 crews were called to Lochfield Road, at Todholm Primary School, shortly before 9am this morning.
A 10-year-old boy was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police say enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
A force spokesperson said: “Around 8.50am on Friday, June 23, 2023, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a 10-year-old boy on Lochfield Road, Paisley.
“The boy was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries into the cause of the crash are ongoing.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 08:47 to attend an incident on Lochfield Road, Paisley.
"Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to South Glasgow Children’s Hospital.”
