5. River City star Scott Ryan Vickers paid a visit to the Sainsbury's store in Braehead to take receipt of a whopping £18,000 cheque on behalf of veterans' charity Erskine.
6. Staff and children at Cairellot Nursery, in Bishopton, celebrated their 20th anniversary as well as achieving award-winning status and top marks in a care report.
