Youngsters at a Johnstone school enjoyed a week full of fun as they took time out to focus on their wellbeing.
The health week at Auchenlodment Primary and ELCC saw youngsters and staff embrace a whole host of activities.
Tesco provided cereal and fruit to allow everyone to have breakfast and make delicious fruit salads, while 4 Corners Boxing, in Johnstone, provided fun boxing taster sessions.
Pupils were able to enjoy Keep Fit sessions, sports day, a Welly Walk and a Colour Run, as well as exciting action-packed football and dance sessions provided by students from Johnstone High.
The school was also delighted to welcome Kate Cooper, the manager of St Mirren women’s football team, who gave an inspirational talk.
She was accompanied by Amanda Panda, the St Mirren women's team mascot, who took part in the Keep Fit sessions.
Tracy Scott, depute head teacher at Auchenlodment Primary, told The Gazette: "This week has been a fantastic opportunity for the community of Auchenlodment to come together and enjoy a wide range of physical activity.
"To see the smiles on the children’s faces and hear an echo of 'best day ever!' from the children indicates the success of the week.
"The glorious weather topped off what has been a successful, positive week for everyone."
