A MAJOR housebuilder has secured a site for a new development.
Miller Homes revealed its latest land acquisition after purchasing a 19.97-acre site in Paisley.
Thornly Park, off Caplethill Road, will be the homebuilder’s latest development in Renfrewshire, delivering a total of 179 homes to the area, with 167 private homes and 12 affordable homes.
The development will comprise a mix of three, four and five-bedroom energy-efficient homes and will launch later this year.
Andrew McArthur, regional operations director for Miller Homes, said: “This is a substantial land purchase and is a direct result of the ongoing demand for new-build homes in the West of Scotland.
“We have a strong track record of delivering new homes that enhance the communities in which we build.
“The latest acquisition will strengthen our portfolio and meet the demand for housing in the local area. We are looking forward to seeing this development's progress in the coming months.”
