A WOMAN has been left seriously injured following a motorbike crash on the M8 in Paisley.
The incident took place at around 9.25am on Sunday, June 4, near junction 28A.
A 34-year-old female rider of a white Yamaha motorcycle was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries.
The road was closed and reopened at 10.25am following the one-vehicle crash.
Sergeant Chris Hoggans of Glasgow Road Policing said: “I am appealing for anyone with information regarding this incident to contact us.
“I would ask any motorists, particularly with dash cams who were in and around that area to check the footage as it may have captured images that could assist in our investigation.
“We are also keen to speak to anyone who stopped to assist the woman but who has not yet spoke to police.”
