A VAN has tipped over onto its side under a railway bridge in Paisley.
Locals reported that the accident took place on Greenhill Road underneath the bridge near St James train station this morning.
Currently, it is unclear what happened, however, ScotRail has said no train services have been affected by the incident.
Police Scotland said they received a report of the crash this morning at around 10.25am.
It is believed that there were no injuries reported from the incident and no damage to the bridge.
A Network Rail spokesperson said: “We received reports that a road vehicle carrying a crane had struck the bridge on Greenhill Road in Paisley at 10.35am.
“A temporary speed restriction was imposed Glasgow to Gourock line in both directions and following inspection of the bridge and track, the speed restriction was removed at shortly after 11am.”
