Johnstone Business Consortium is inviting local residents to attend its bi-monthly meeting.
The event will take place at Johnstone Town Hall on Wednesday, May 17, starting at 6pm.
Allan Henderson, chair of the Johnstone Business Consortium, said the meeting was open to both local business owners and residents.
He told The Gazette: "We will be discussing the proposed closure of Johnstone High Parish Church and what else we can do to not let them close it.

"A lot of people use the church and the work that it does is fabulous.
"We're also looking for ideas on how the town centre can be improved.
"Everybody is more than welcome to come along, as the meeting is not just open to businesses, anybody can come along if they want to contribute.
"We are non-political and want to hear from local people, as well try to represent the businesses and the people of Johnstone fairly and honestly."
