A popular Renfrew deli has won a prestigious award.
Katie's Kitchen, in Inchinnan Road, was named Best New Business in Renfrewshire at the Scotlands Business Awards on Sunday night.
The deli takeaway has proved popular with locals since it opened in October last year.
Johnpaul Lappin, manager and chef at Katie's Kitchen, said the team were "feeling amazing" about the win.
He told The Gazette: "We're well chuffed and weren't expecting it at all.
"Since we opened, we have just been growing every week and getting busier, which is great.
"We've been getting positive feedback from our customers."
The deli, which has outdoor seating, offers a range of food, such as morning rolls, paninis, baked potatoes, burgers and homebaking, as well as tea, coffee and soft drinks.
Johnpaul said: "I think people like the deli because we're nice to them when they come in and do everything in front of them, so there's never any problems if someone wants something different.
"We've started doing outside catering as well, so we want to push that a bit more."
Katie's Kitchen is now set to compete in the national finals of Scotlands Business Awards, which will take place later this year.
Johnpaul added: "Katie's Kitchen a family business and it was opened in memory of my mother-in-law Katie Connor who passed away.
"I would like to thank everybody that is involved with Katie's Kitchen for getting it to where it is."
